HotelDusk Proto-Phoenix Wright

Here's an animated version of a prototype Phoenix Wright that I originally found in one of the Gyakuten Saiban art books. I inked it in Adobe Illustrator and tried experimenting with Dusk's shading and Rotoscoping. I had a terrible time with shading and the eyes, so I mimicked the shading used for Jeff Angel, and traced his eye.

Personally, I'm really fond of the flat cap Proto-Phoenix is wearing. Mostly because I love wearing them.

And gosh darnit, this piece was hard to submit in any category.
